This is one of the very first blankets I designed and made. This current photo is actually a reboot of this blanket in Ohio State colors, that I made for my mom. This blanket was also featured on All Free Crochet and became extremely popular!
I made this blanket using leftover yarn of varying brands. I had enough to make a full blanket so I picked a neat looking crochet stitch and repeated it into this creation! The stitches look complex but once you take the time to read how it's made, you'll how amazingly simple it really is!
Most of my patterns are made the traditional top to bottom, width-wise. This is one of a few I've made length-wise. The awesomely neat stitches are very easy, of course!
Another blanket made length-wise instead of width-wise. This is a great pattern for a beginner! I used a beautiful bold purple with white to make this blanket pop!
